Archived — Accreditation: Facilitating world trade
World Accreditation Day raises awareness around the globe of the importance of accreditation-related activities. If you are a Canadian organization looking to tap into export markets, you won't want to miss the Standards Council of Canada's (SCC) World Accreditation Day 2013 event. Register now to join the SCC on June 4 and discover the importance of accreditation and certification procedures.
The theme of this year's networking breakfast event is Accreditation: Facilitating World Trade. Discover the importance of accreditation and certification procedures, standards, regulations and testing—and how they help ensure the safety of your products and services and how they can help you gain a competitive global edge. Attendees will navigate accreditation through the global supply chain and explore the value of accreditation as one standard, one test, one certification recognized and accepted globally.
The International Accreditation Forum and the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation have designated June 9 as World Accreditation Day. This year, the SCC will be celebrating this event on June 4, 2013, 8:00 to 10:30 a.m. at the Sheraton Ottawa Hotel.
For those who are unable to attend, presentations will be available on the SCC website following the event.
